The exterior of this apartment building is considerably plain: painted brown and considerably low, with only five floors. It's just stairs, an elevator, a boring lobby, and weirdly quiet corridors. Yeah, and balconies.
Most of the residents are exhausted adults who would rather not be bothered, but there are a few ones who will complain if you look at them incorrectly. And don't forget about the upstairs neighbors who love to passionately drill holes in their walls at that one Saturday night you scheduled for rest.
Also, Simona lives here. Alone, separated from the rest of her family. Her parents help finance the apartment to keep her at a distance, and she gets easier access to school and town center this way, making it a win-win for both sides.
