About Ezra

Overview

A wannabe savior who puts mirrors where they don’t belong.

The way reality is – miserable, ugly, wrong – It drives her to pull the world out of it all.

She fixes anything that isn’t beautiful enough but always leaves some cracks to set an example.

Throw a handful of stars, glass shards, and ribbon into a blender, and what you get is her aesthetic.

She lives for an audience that isn’t there.

What is she like?

Polished

Everything about her is clean. No cracks, no impurities, no nothing. Thankyouverymuch.

Curated

Her color scheme feels right every single time. So much that it almost feels unreal.

Perfect

Her bright blue hair never fails to impress. In public, she's unbeatable with her aesthetics.

But actually?

She's scared of failure.

Dependent on validation.

Ordinary.

What does she think?

That anything can be beautiful if you pretend hard enough.

Motifs

Mirrors

Ezra always needs to make sure she looks neat. She loves reflections and the way she looks now. Way better than she used to.

Stars

They are pointy and shiny. Ezra also wears a red star-shaped hairpin and probably won't ever stop. It's her favorite thing.

Ribbons

There's always one in her hair, on her clothes, hands... She can't live without her ribbons. The texture and design. Just perfect.

Relationships

With Tara

Opposing forces that are in a constant state of attempting to impose their own reality.

With Ivy

Co-dependency built on one-sided devotion, power imbalance, and the performance of closeness.

With Simona

Former best friends separated by conflicting moral beliefs and a lot of irreversible mistakes.

Average interaction with Ezra / rp sample

In a group of strangers walking around the park, one person stands out with bright blue hair and she won't stop adjusting the red ribbon under her collar.

That’s Ezra.

She looks around the park and watches out for any looks she might get. However, people don't really care because they have their own business to deal with, and she's not used to that, so she pulls out a compact mirror and stares into it for a bit.

She whispers to no one, “Do I look nice?”

Right after that, Ezra notices a stranger in the reflection in the mirror. They look unusual... so Ezra turns around, walks over to the person, poses a little, and says,

“Hi! You look quite presentable! Who might you be?”

The person turns their head towards Ezra.

“Me? Presentable? Well… you'd be so right! You can call me (Name) –”

They pause, standing up.

“And you?” They ask, switching their weight every few seconds.

Ezra smiles upon hearing the name.

“(Name)? That's lovely.”

She straightens slightly before bending down again when she notices how short the other person is. Ezra remarks,

“Do you always sit on the ground like this?

There's a bench right there, you know. And the grass isn't as clean as it looks...”

(Name) glances toward the bench.

“…Uh… I like sitting on the grass.”

They look at Ezra. Their expression is a mix of a smile and a neutral expression.

“So, I'm guessing you come here often… What uh… Brings you here to this…”

(Name) trails off, unsure of where they are even going with this.

“...to this park? Who wouldn't want to be here? It's full of nature and fresh air and, like... everything. You know?”

Instead of finishing what they started, (Name) just awkwardly scratches at the back of their head and lets out a bothered sigh, like this is all somehow Ezra's problem.

Ezra says, "hey, maybe you could... No, no. We should go somewhere else. What do you think?"
